I'm back with my stick and pounding some legs..........
The Seattle Kraken rebounded from their 2-1 loss to Anaheim on Tuesday with a stellar performance in San Jose on Wednesday. The Kraken cracked its first win in franchise history with a 6-0 dubbing over the Sharks. Vladimir Tarasenko cracked the scoring with less than a minute in the game. Michael McLeod broke into the roster with syle by netting two goals, including the second goal of the game.
Tarasenko netted his second of the game with just under five minutes remaining in the game. Chris Driedger leads all goalies in the CMHL with a .967 Save % and 1.00 GAA. Driedger has been a stopping force in the backend for the Kraken to start the season.
GM Giddens noted that he's proud of the boooys on tonight's performance and from rebounding from a tough loss to the Ducks on Tuesday. "They have kept being gritty, may a tad too much with the penalty minutes, and power-play advantages to the other teams. It's not helping, but through this adversity, we're still putting pucks in the net, and coming out with a fight."
One special note from Tuesday's game against the Ducks. Shayne Gostisbehere scored the first-ever goal in franchise history. Congrats on a beautiful achievement.
